Modernist architect John Storrs was inspired by Oregon-grown products to enhance his two passions: Designing homes connected to nature and cooking.

Storrs’ handsome midcentury modern homes typically had raw cedar siding, Douglas fir surfaces and other unpainted and textured wood that he saw as an “understandable, romantic material.”
